Racoo.
Learning through competition, community and progress.
We designed a gamified learning experience for Racoo where students track schedules and topics, join teams, compete and share questions. Brand and product structure, tablet and mobile UX/UI, and a React front end were developed as one digital product.

Need.
Following schedules, tracking completed topics and maintaining study habits often required disconnected tools. Racoo aimed to bring them together and make learning more than individual tracking, with competition, teamwork and community interaction.
Information-heavy schedules and topic progress sat alongside tournaments, competitions, profiles, community and shared questions. They needed to work together through clear navigation and a common visual language without overwhelming students.
Product and experience approach.
The core experience is a hub for a quick daily overview. Schedules, upcoming tasks, topic progress and activities share a hierarchy. Tablet space accommodates summaries and details together; mobile prioritises the most important tasks.
Schedules are scannable by day and time. Visual indicators distinguish completed, ongoing and outstanding topics, making progress clear at a glance.

Gamification and community.
Tournament and competition screens clearly present participation, rankings, time and results. Colours and status components explain the student’s position and next step rather than simply decorate the experience.
Community flows let students interact, share questions and follow answers. Profiles combine academic progress and social participation in one personal view.
Design system and React implementation.
Vivid colours on dark backgrounds give Racoo a game-like character while preserving readability. Shared typography, cards, statuses, navigation and interactions keep tablet and phone experiences consistent.
We carried the design system into a React front end, maintaining continuity between design and working product. Responsive components and shared screen logic connect different usage contexts.
