Piri.
From a travel idea to a brand and first mobile product.
We helped establish Piri, born within YGA, from the idea stage to its first working product. We created its visual identity and translated city exploration through expert narration into the first mobile interface, connecting routes, maps, stories and purchases.

Concept.
Discovering a city by listening to its stories, not watching a screen.
Piri began with the idea of exploring a city at your own pace rather than following a fixed tour schedule. The app tracks location and route stops, sharing local stories through expert guides’ voices while highlighting nearby food, culture and shopping.
This early idea needed both a credible travel brand and a working mobile experience that first-time users could understand easily.
Brand identity.
A simple, lively system for discovery.
We built Piri’s identity around curiosity, movement, culture and personal discovery. Logo, palette and typography were considered alongside the mobile structure, connecting brand and interface from the start.
The identity became more than a signature on the opening screen. It extends through tour cards, map markers, categories and navigation as a complete visual system.
The first product experience.
A connected journey from choosing a tour to listening along the route.
For the first app, we designed flows to discover cities and tours, review content, buy a suitable package and reach the starting point.
Numbered map stops explain the tour structure, while the audio-guide screen supports walking without demanding constant attention to the phone. Users can pause, resume and explore recommendations along the route.
Photo-led tour cards, clear sections and a strong hierarchy simplify extensive content. The catalogue, route and audio player share one product logic.
The role of design.
The idea’s first working form.
This was not an interface added to an existing product. Working with YGA at the founding stage, we shaped decisions from the brand’s appearance to how users begin their first tour.
Software development was outside our scope. We created the brand, translated the idea into an experience model, and designed information architecture and end-to-end UX/UI for the first mobile app.
Piri today.
Piri has since developed into a global travel-technology product. According to YGA’s current figures, it reaches more than one million users across 20 countries and 30 cities, with over 3,000 audio stories. Working with more than 50 organisations, including İş Bankası, Turkcell and Samsung, Piri has continued to develop its product and interface since the first release.
That current scale should not be attributed directly to our initial design. The brand and experience foundation we created as Piri moved from idea to working product was, however, an important starting point in its story.

Outcome.
The first Piri product brought city exploration, routes, audio and local stories together, with brand and mobile experience designed as one. Its continued growth makes this more than an early interface project for us: it is a product story we helped shape at the idea stage.
