Domino’s Self‑Service Kiosk.

Bringing in-restaurant ordering to the touchscreen.

We designed an end-to-end interface for customers to place their own orders at Domino’s kiosks. Developed before self-service ordering kiosks were common in Türkiye, the pilot brought the full journey to a large touchscreen: choosing offers, customising pizzas, adding sides, selecting payment and confirming orders.

Welcome screen

Need.

Moving orders away from the counter required more than enlarging existing screens. Standing in front of an unfamiliar interface with limited time, customers needed to understand offers, choose and customise a pizza, add sides, enter their details and select a payment method.

The central UX challenge was presenting products, coupons, sizes, crusts and toppings without slowing decisions. Customers needed to know where they were in the journey and what came next.

Design approach.

We divided ordering into five clear steps: coupons, pizzas, sides, communication preferences and basket. Progress remained visible at the top, avoiding the impression of a long form. Colour distinguished completed steps from those ahead.

The physical conditions of kiosk use shaped the interface. We used large touch targets, clear back and next controls, a strong visual hierarchy and short prompts. Appealing product images and scannable cards replaced small text lists.

Many choices, one flow.

Related choices such as pizza size, crust, standard toppings and extras appeared in expandable sections. Customers could customise their order progressively rather than face every option at once. Immediate visual feedback confirmed changes in quantity and items added.

We grouped sides into categories and placed edit and remove controls beside each item in the basket. Payment options shared one decision area, followed by a clear confirmation screen explaining what to do next.

The work.

The result was a complete self-service experience: choose an offer, customise a pizza, add sides and finish with a payment preference. Piloted at selected Domino’s restaurants, the project was an early example of translating the brand’s in-person ordering process into a digital product.

The project was delivered through OGOO, not directly for Domino’s. Pars Design was responsible for information architecture, user flows and kiosk UX/UI design.
