Chef’s Deal.
Redesigning for needs beyond standard e-commerce
We redesigned the UX and interfaces of US professional kitchen equipment supplier Chef’s Deal. Joining through our partner, we addressed the broad catalogue and specialised purchasing needs in a coherent desktop and mobile experience.

Redesigned homepage and category structure
Resolving complexity one part at a time.
The existing site had become difficult to use as dense product information and different functions accumulated. Professional equipment specifications and purchasing requirements called for more than a standard shopping layout.
We reconsidered categories, search, filters, listings and product details together. Each section had clear information priorities and next steps. Specialised functions stayed, with a more understandable place in the interface.

Mobile shopping experience
An experience developed by three teams.
The process connected Chef’s Deal’s technical and sales teams, RGLABS and Pars Design. Regular meetings reviewed needs section by section, with design proposals developed through feedback.
This approach brought sales expectations and technical requirements into the same design. We delivered a fully redesigned interface for desktop and mobile.
