TÜSİAD SD².
A digital ecosystem connecting technology needs with solutions.
We took over the first version of TÜSİAD’s industrial digital-transformation platform, SD². We refactored its software into a multi-role, multi-panel product several times larger in scope, then completely renewed the UX and interfaces. From front-end development to back-end integrations to operation and maintenance, we took responsibility for the full digital process.

Need.
SD² connects companies seeking technology with providers offering solutions. The first version had core functions, but expanding scope, user groups and operations needed a stronger technical foundation and a coherent experience.
Matching two sides was not enough. Companies needed to define needs and publish calls; suppliers to publish solutions and apply; judges to evaluate and vote; companies to manage profiles; administrators to oversee the system. Messaging, events, digital-maturity assessments, subscriptions and payments also had to work within that structure.

Approach.
Rebuilding the technical foundation first
We began with the software before the interface. Refactoring created a stronger, more maintainable structure for expanded scope and new modules. Over time, functionality reached three to four times that of the original version.
Clear flows for a complex ecosystem
We designed separate panels for technology users, suppliers, judges and administrators, each with distinct needs, permissions and tasks. Calls, solutions, applications, matching, evaluation, voting and collaboration follow clear, connected flows.
A complete renewal of the experience and front end
With the technical foundation strengthened, we reconsidered every user-facing screen. Simpler architecture and a shared language connect the panels through a redesigned interface. We developed the front-end and integrated it with the back-end to deliver the complete product.
Many modules, one product experience
Subscriptions, payments, digital-maturity assessments, messaging, events, company profiles and management tools share one system. Rather than simply add screens, we considered how each new need relates to existing roles and workflows.

Outcome.
We developed SD² from its first version into a comprehensive product managing the participants and operations of industrial digital transformation. Role-based panels support the journey from defining a need to matching a solution, jury evaluation, subscriptions and payments.
Across roughly five years, we have acted not only as a design and development supplier but as the digital partner responsible for operation and maintenance. The platform remains active and continues to evolve through new needs, integrations and improvements.
